Breckenridge and Boreas Pass Fall Colors Tour on September 28th
Our newest special event will be a trip up to Breckenridge to see the fall colors. We will make a stop to visit Isak Heartstone, the troll statue at the edge of town. We will then make our way up Boreas Pass to see some beautiful scenery of the mountains near Breckenridge. Along the way we will have a picnic lunch of fresh salads and sandwiches. We will return to Fort Collins by way of Evergreen and Golden passing Red Rocks amphitheater along the way. Due to Covid-19 we are limiting seating for this trip to 6 people. If there is enough interest we will create more days.
This tour leaves at 8:30 AM and returns around 5 PM.
This tour cost $55.00 and includes lunch.
Colorado's Railroad Museum and Red Rocks Tour March 12th
Colorado's Railroad Museum in Golden is offering a free day of admission on March 12th. We are going to take a group down to the museum and spend 1 and 1/2 hours at the museum. We will then proceeds to Red Rocks for a look around the spectacular geological site. Afterwards we will be stopping for lunch in downtown Morrison. We will return to Fort Collins following the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway through Blackhawk, Nederland, and Estes Park.
This tour leaves Fort Collins at 8:30 AM and returns around 4:30 PM.
This tour cost $35.00. Lunch is not included in the price of transportation.
Denver Museum of Nature and Science February 10th
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is hosting a free day at the museum. We are going to take advantage of the free day for an affordable event for all. We will leave Fort Collins at 8:30 AM and return around 3:00 PM.We will spend 2 and 1/2 hours at the museum and then head to a restaurant for lunch.
This trip cost $30.00 per person.
Lunch is not included in the cost.
The museum admission is free.
Breckenridge Snow Sculptures Trip January
For our first special event of 2020, we will be going to Breckenridge to view the snow sculptures. Every year Breckenridge host a snow/ice sculpting championship. For the week after the championship, they leave the sculptures out for people to enjoy for free. We will leave Fort Collins in the van and take approximately 2 and 1/2 hours to get there(depending on the road conditions).
We will spend 3 hours in Breckenridge both viewing the sculptures and eating lunch. Lunch is not included in the special event price.
This Trip will last 7 to 8 hours depending on road conditions.
