Estes Park Tour

Half Day Ride no Lunch

The Estes Park Half Day Tour takes us past overlooks of Horsetooth Reservoir on the way through the old town of Masonville for some old west picture opportunities. From Masonville we head to the Big Thompson and follow the path of the old Riley Road that was built in 1904 up to Drake. At Drake we follow the North Fork of the Big Thompson River to Glen Haven. We then enter Estes Park from the north side of town.We make a stop at the famous Stanley Hotel and then continue to downtown Estes Park. At Estes Park, passengers can either be dropped off for 1 and 1/2 hour of shopping or they can continue on the van for more sightseeing. This part of the tour goes south on the Scenic Peak to Peak highway. We visit Allenspark, view Long's Peak, and make stops at St Catherine's Church and Lily Lake. We then return to Estes Park to pick up any shoppers and head back to Fort Collins by the Big Thompson River Canyon.

This tour last 4 to 4 1/2 hours and leaves at 9:00a.m.

Estes Park From 2 Sides Tour
Full  Day Ride with Lunch
The Estes Park From 2 Sides Tour takes you past overlooks of Horsetooth Reservoir on the way through the old town of Masonville for some some old west picture opportunities. From Masonville we head up the Big Thompson River to Drake and leave the canyon to approach Estes Park from the north after passing Glen Haven. By coming to Estes from this side, we see a view of the park that most visitors never see. We then make a stop at the historic Stanley Hotel. We continue on through the downtown Estes Park and head east along the St. Vrain River to Lyons where we stop for lunch. We then head back up the South St. Vrain River canyon through the quaint towns of Riverside, Raymond, and Allenspark. After Allenspark,  we continue on to Estes Park from the South with great views of Long's Peak and Mt. Meeker. We stop for a stroll around Lily Lake before heading into Estes Park.
This ride lasts 7 1/2 to 8 hours and leaves at 9:30.
